My Nail of the Day for today is a polish from my favourite brand... A-England!
This shade is called Sleeping Palace and is part of the Burne-Jones Dream collection. This collection was inspired by The Legend of Briar Rose - a series of paintings by Edward Burne-Jones which were, in turn, inspired by a moment in the Sleeping Beauty story.
This polish has a coppery-plum base hue and contains prismatic holo glitter. It is rich and beautiful. The holographic effect is visible in all lights but it really comes alive in bright sunlight and artificial lights.
Here is a photo (with flash):
Base coat: OPI Nail Envy (one coat)
Polish: Sleeping Palace (two coats)
Top coat: Seche Vite (one coat)
I am in love with A-England polishes and the stories behind them. The formula is thick and creamy and is an absolute dream to work with. This particular polish is opaque with one thick coat put I prefer to use two to even my nails out.
You can find this beautiful collection, and others, at http://www.a-england.co.uk
Love, Sarah Nailsfromnothing xx
