Here is my 'Glamour Beauty Edit' box from Latest in Beauty.
This is a set box which means you know what you're going to receive when you order it, and all boxes are the same.
Contents
Five full-sized products and two large samples.
Percy & Reed Volumising Mousse 50ml (sample size)
I haven't used this yet as I tend to stay away from most hair products, simply because my hair is quite fine so it can look very greasy at the roots with most products. I put a little hair oil on the ends but that's about it.
My hair is actually naturally curly but it's straight at the roots. I have absolutely no volume in my hair. I always straighten it because it's so messy and fuzzy otherwise and my curls are limp. I might see if I can get some volume and bounce back into my curls with this :)
RRP £12 for 200ml (sample worth £3)
Daniel Sandler Long Lasting Waterproof Eyeliner 'Aqua' (full size)
There are 9 shades in this range but this shade was created especially for the Latest in Beauty box. It's an aqua turquoise colour and has a matte finish. It is long lasting and waterproof and goes on very easily. No need for a sharpener, it's a twist-to-use eyeliner.
RRP £9.25
Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm (full size)
I love trying different lip balms as my lips are always dry. I have yet to find one that works miracles on my lips, but I'm ever hopeful!
This smells lovely, doesn't have an unpleasant taste and feels very moisturising - but as with most lip balms I've tried, it doesn't last. When it has worn off, my lips feel no different.
RRP £3.69
Invisibobble 'Pink' (pack of 3)
Wraps around the hair evenly and securely, allowing it to be held in place without being too tight or too loose. It also leaves your hair kink-free.
I really love these! I got the pink ones which I'm really happy with. I have seen other boxes with different colours (red, gold, clear, blue etc) so this is the only product that can vary slightly between boxes.
RRP £3.75
Cheeky Chat Me Up Nail Paint 'Tongue n Cheek' 10ml (full size)
I LOVE the colour, but the formula is so thick and gloopy! It is very pigmemted which means you only need one coat for it to be opaque, which is a good job because it's so thick it would take forever to dry and would end up peeling off in one go.
The brush is great for application. I might put a few drops of Seche Restore into this polish to make it a bit more manageable.
RRP £7.00
L'Oreal Miss Manga mascara 'Black' (full size)
I love the packaging of this mascara. The brush is nice and easy to use and it goes on well. It's easily removed but doesn't smudge and flake throughout the day.
My lashes are very short and sparse and go in funny directions (probably because I've worn falsies for years) so any kind of special effect mascara doesn't do much for me. This would look fabulous on someone with better lashes!
RRP £8.99
Rituals Zensation Foaming Shower Gel 50ml (sample size)
I have never tried a foaming shower gel before! This smells really lovely so I look forward to trying it. I might even use it as a shaving foam too :)
RRP £8.50 for 200ml (sample worth approx £2.12)
Price/value for money
Box cost - £14.95, including delivery
Box value - approx £37.75
Dispatch/delivery
Latest in Beauty take 4-5 days just to dispatch orders, which I think is far too long. Once Royal Mail have it, it usually gets to you within 1-2 days. I wouldn't place an order if you're in a rush to receive it!
Verdict
This is a great value box if you use all of the products. It's fab that you can see exactly what you're going to receive before you order, which saves any disappointment like I've had with a few beauty boxes lately. I recommend this box :)
As well as the themed collections like this one, Latest in Beauty also do a 'make your own box' thing where you can create a box by choosing your own samples. I've made up a few boxes this way and I've been happy with the price and quality of everything!
Postage is £3.95 though which is a bit steep, not so bad if you're placing a big order but they occasionally have offers for free postage and % off samples.

Have you placed an order with Latest in Beauty? If so, what did you order?
