Glossybox March 2014

Here is a quick look at my March Glossybox.

The theme this month is 'Beauty Blossom' which I love the sound of. It's all about the end of Winter and the beginning of Spring... which is today, 20th March! Woohoo!
The design of the Glossy Magazine and product card is just gorgeous :)

Product card (front and back)

Box contents:

I received five products; four were full sized and one was a sample.

Sleek Pout Polish in 'Bare Minimum'

This is a glossy tinted balm and has a peachy-nude hue to it. It smells like vanilla but tastes like most lip balms do. This makes my lips a lovely subtle colour and I'm so glad I got this shade as it's the one I would have picked out myself. I was the most excited about this product as I love lip balms and this doesn't disappoint, it's not stick either, it just glides on. I will be probably be buying some more colours soon :)
10g full size, RRP £4.49

BellaPierre Shimmer Powder in 'Champagne'

This is a very fine sparkly powder, the photo makes it look slightly darker than it is in real life. I would say that it is the colour of champagne, as the name suggests ;)
I have seen these pots before but I had no idea that they were multi-use - they can be mixed into blusher, nail polish or lip gloss too!
Fabulous and I love the colour too.
2.35g full size, RRP £12.99

Mitchell & Peach Body Cream

Another body cream! I have far too many body and hand creams from various boxes. The problem with this one is that I can't stand the smell of it, I tested it on my hand and had to wash my hands right away. I wouldn't even give it as a gift because of the smell. It's an essential oil smell but I really don't like it! Maybe it's just me? It's a shame because it would have done nicely for a handbag cream.
40ml sample size (worth £8)

Dove Hair Therapy 60 Second Treatment Shot

I do like Dove products and although this sample is small, I have heard good things about it. My hair is quite fine so I am always wary of using moisturising products, as they make my hair look greasy and even more limp and flat than it already is.
Well, I needn't have worried - my hair is lovely and soft after using it. It rinsed out easily and when dry my hair isn't greasy-looking at all, but it doesn't seem to leave a nice clean scent like my normal conditioner does.
15ml full size (RRP £1.49)

Helenere Age Sensitive Zone Repair Serum

This deeply-moisturising serum promises to help prevent skin ageing, and adds elasticity whilst brightening your complexion.
This is a small bottle but you really don't need a lot so this should last ages. It goes on lovely, silky smooth. I haven't seen any results yet after two days of using it but I will persevere. No negative effects from it and it doesn't really smell of anything.
10ml full size (RRP £38.50)

Note: Some people received small fake tan sachets or Juicy Couture perfume samples instead of the Helenere serum. Bearing in mind the serum is worth £38.50 and the perfume samples can be picked up for free, I'm very disappointed that Glossybox would do something like that. The fake tan sachets are tiny and even though you get two, it'd barely be enough to do one arm let alone your whole body. Totally useless.
Boxes should all be to the same value because we all pay the same price! I hope the people that got ripped off get a better value box next time.

Update: Glossybox has since told people (via Facebook) that the samples are meant for your face, but why would you want to tan just your face?

Cost/value for money
Box cost - £10 + £3.25 P&P
Box value - £65.47

Verdict
I'm so happy with this box. Outstanding value! The serum alone bumped up the value so much, that's why I feel bad for the people who didn't get it because they didn't even get an expensive substitute. Apart from the body lotion, everything will be used and enjoyed. I absolutely loved last month's box and this one is just as good. Keep it up Glossybox :)

Love, Sarah NailsfromNothing xx
